'ESSENCE LINK' Syntax: cast 'essence link' <target> At the heart of a Riftward's teachings is healing and protecting others. In support of that mission, they learn the essence link spell. By targeting an ally with this incantation, a Riftward can enhance the healing received by the target. Only healing that originates from the Riftward and applies to the essence link target receives this effectiveness bonus. In addition, essence linking to an ally allows the Riftward to cast wards on them as well. A Riftward can only have one essence link target at a time. Similarly, a target can only have one active essence link on them. A Riftward can end their active essence link by casting this spell on themselves.
