'THE ETHEREAL PLANE' The Ethereal Plane is a demiplane of Serin that overlaps Serin almost entirely. There are several magical abilities (as well as portals) that allow a mortal to enter and traverse the Ethereal Plane. Entities inside interact with Serin in strange and interesting ways that are not entirely known. Attempting to travel into areas that are linked with other Prime Planes such as Acadia or The Void will bring someone out of the Ethereal Plane.
