'FORESTMELD' Syntax: automatic No other race is as home in the woods as elves are, and the woodsmanship skills of elven rangers are unmatched by rangers of the other races. Through a combination of instinctual adaptation and lifelong training, rangers of the elvenfolk can often roam undetected through the wilderness, even without actively camouflaging themselves. Most observers cannot see them at a distance (as per the "where" and "scan" commands) at all so long the elf is situated where it is possible to camouflage and remains standing without being outlined by faerie magic. More wise observers can often manage to see through this forestmeld technique, as can extremely experienced adventurers. Anyone trained in the keen sight skill cannot be fooled by forestmeld. Note that while the forestmeld legacy reduces the chances of being spotted at a distance, an elf ranger needs to actually be camouflaged to avoid being seen if the other person is in the same room.
