HUNGER THIRST While you are playing in Abandoned Realms, you will find that your character will become hungry and thirsty. When this happens you will see a message telling how hungry or thirsty you are. For the first 9 ranks you you will not be hurt by your hunger or thirst, however after you attain your tenth rank, you will find it painful to go without eating or drinking for too long. You can get water from fountains in towns, or springs found throughout the realm. You can buy food from stores, or eat the body parts left behind by monsters you have killed. Note that different food and body part types are more filling than others, and some may be poisoned. Keep in mind that keeping yourself well fed will help your character recover faster. `@Rookie mistake``: New players to the game often leave the game by closing their browser or mud client, instead of waiting for adrenaline to expire so that they can properly log out with the QUIT command. Leaving the game in this way causes it to "void out", an automatic disconnection after about ten minutes. However, the character will be vulnerable to hunger that whole time.
