LAG

'LAG' Many game events depend on lag. Lag is defined as an imposed wait before you are able to perform any other action. When you are lagged, your commands are still accepted by the game, but you must wait for them to catch up. Entering multiple command causes them to be queued and processed as soon as they can be. Skills, like performing a kick or an attempt at a disarm, and spellcasting are the most common sources of self-inflicted player lag. This is often a necessary risk to take, to defeat your opponent. Some skills, for example bash and trip, can impose lag on others. This wreaks havoc on casters who have forgotten their protective shields, and must depend on their spells to outdamage their opponent. If you have a method to avoid such skills, use it. Note that player-imposed lags (i.e. by bash, trip, etc) are subject to diminishing returns if used repeatedly in a short period of time.
