PRESTIGE
'PRESTIGE'
Syntax: lair score
Prestige is a measure of the overall class of a room, increasing as a
lair room is described, decorated and furnished. Depending on the item that
is deployed in the room, that room's prestige may increase by a larger
amount. Adding extended descriptions to a room further increases the
prestige by a small amount. Once prestige has increased enough, that room
is then considered to be a greater rank. There are three ranks in total.
The lair itself also has an overall level, and this is dependent on the
level of its rooms; no prestige at all means the lair is level 1. A level 2
prestige room means the lair is a level 2 lair, and two level three rooms
are needed to have a level 3 lair. Once these conditions have been met, the
lair owner can use an upgrade kit to add additional rooms and reinforce
their lair's door.

Syntax: prestige

In relation to players, prestige relates to additional accolades that a player
character of pinnacled rank has earned. These may be thought of as 'prestige
levels' or 'prestige ranks'. There are 150 such levels to attain. A list
of redeemable rewards that can be gained from prestige points (acquired each
time a prestige rank is earned) is available with the prestige command.
Note that prestige experience follows the same pattern as normal experience,
boosted for 3 group members, penalized for larger group.
