The immediate impact of this is to ensure that no word of recall spell will be of any use while near the pyre. Enemies of the necromancer that remain by the pyre will find themselves vulnerable to negative damage, and the black torrent spell becomes a stream of hellfire. Initially static, the pyre develops other properties known to advanced practitioners of necromancy - a chorus of anguish spell will transfer the pyre to wherever the necromancer currently is, and an enemy that is cursed and under the fullest effects of death grasp will find the pyre's tremendous power will summon them to it, although this force may only be felt at very short distances (i.e. in adjacent rooms).
