PLAYERKILLING

'PLAYERKILLING' Playerkilling is encouraged here at the Abandoned Realms. Your character will be in "PK" when it reaches the 10th rank or attains 30,000 experience points, whichever comes LAST. You will be able to see who is able to hunt you with the command "WHO PK", and "WHERE PK" to check the area you are in. Exp-cost based "PK ranges" have been created and tested for fairness. In general, the greater your exp cost (see HELP RACE, HELP CLASS) the more often you'll face players with levels on you. This disadvantage ends for good when the character reaches level 50. Do not just kill anyone, make sure there is a ROLEPLAYING REASON. Your character's actions should remain reasonably close to their chosen role - alignment/ethos, race, class/cabal, guided by their IC experiences. There is no requirement to disclose anything to your opponent. There is no "rulebook" for playerkilling, however here are some guidelines: * multikilling is allowed, but it is dull to kill someone excessively for one reason repeatedly. You could damage them politically instead. * A well-written background will help the Immortals to understand what you are doing. * "Rampages" or killing sprees are reserved for level 50 evils only * stealing gold and items also requires a roleplaying reason See also: TIPS, LOOTING, PK FLAG
