'Sanctify' Syntax: Sanctify <target> y (At deity temple altar) Dedication to one's deity allows one to sanctify rare items at that deities altar. This will make the item become hallowed in the eyes of the Gods, which will allow the item to remain with you, even beyond death. Such items cannot be stolen or pried by sticky-fingered rogues. The "hallowed" effect is removed from the item upon the death of its bearer, making the item vulnerable to loss. The number of items that may be sanctified increases with one's reputation, being able to sanctify three items at the heights of recognition. The ritual to sanctify requires a tribute of three rare items placed upon the temple altar, as well as a significant donation of gold. These items must be of similar type and level as the item being sanctified. Choose carefully, as once sanctified this item will be bound to you and cannot be undone, save through death. Weapons, shields, wild items, and containers cannot become hallowed through the sanctify process.
