'VERSATILE' Weapons that are versatile are typically swords of 1.5 size - bastard swords, broadswords and the like. The benefit of using a versatile weapon is that the weapon is used as a two-handed weapon if the other hand is free, but it is possible to wear a shield, dual wield or hold something making it a one-handed weapon in that action. This allows quick access to all three combat styles. Note that minotaurs are able to wield all axes in a versatile manner.
