The shield is easily receptive to the elements and will be charged up as the void-elf uses their other spells. Due to its nature, the shield can be shattered, causing a tear in the fabric of reality to open. Stepping through the rift is possible, however may have unpredictable results. Note that wild attacks go right through this shield, though it is very good at absorbing light-based damage.
