VANISSE
Vanisse was an abandoned child for she possessed human traits in her elven
heritage. As a child, she learned the arts of musical instruments and
possessed the natural talent of composing manuscripts and literacy. On her
travels, she stumbled upon copies of ancient Mystiques. She grew attached
to these intriguing articles and heard her inner call, embracing the
Conservatory of Heralds as her home. Her impeccable knowledge gained
popularity among Serin. All the notable achievements in her mortal days
were not unnoticed, for she gained favor among the immortals and was granted
ascension to the heavens. For many Serin centuries, she continued in her
efforts of guidance and benevolence. Her favored weapon is the lyre, for
she prefers to diffuse tense situations with music and her voice of reason
rather than brute force. It is commonly known that Vanisse has an unceasing
love for cookies and gnomes. Perhaps too adroitly, the altar of Vanisse
lies within Gnome Village.
Followers of Vanisse are highly cultured because they place the most value
in experiencing life of all in Serin. Their pursuit of understanding of the
world around them has given them wisdom that allows them to perceive the
layers of complexity that underpin the seemingly mundane. Others who chance
upon one of her true devotees feel as though they have the capability of
changing the very flow of circumstance. In truth, they use their powers of
keen observation and inexhaustible curiosity to tease forth opportunities
that others often overlook. Traditionally, Vanisse's followers are
characterized by their inquisitive nature, unorthodox thinking, and vibrant
dreams.
