Virgil was born an immortal together with Stryth and Denadlyr. Through Virgil, the physical rules governing Serin were developed. He created the unpredictable weathers, the ever changing moons and the passage of time. Virgil channeled his powers to teach Serins in the way of true balance. Those who were trained in this aspect later formed a guild known as monks. The altar of Virgil resides within The Ford. Followers of Virgil care for the balance in populations of evil and good. One cannot exist without the presence of the other, and Virgil's disciples are proactive in restoring that balance. This brings them often into conflict with the most powerful in Serin as a practical method to quickly restore balance. Without exception, Virgil's followers credit him with creating everything essential to life in Serin, a claim which is often disputed by those who believe it to be something their gods did. Worshippers of Virgil include the Keeper cabal and many of the monks of Serin's wilderness.
