'WISDOM WIS' Wisdom is an ability score representing a composite of a character's intuition, judgment, common sense, and will power. High wisdom gives more practices per level (up to 5 at 25 wisdom). It increases the mana gained per level, and factors into mana regeneration. Your skills will also improve faster with high wisdom. Wisdom contributes to shield block alongside constitution. It also helps your parry resist high-hitroll attackers -- your wisdom opposes the attacker's hitroll bonus to keep your defenses effective. Wisdom is used for mental saving throws. Each point of wisdom improves your resistance to charm, domination, and other mind-affecting spells. The difference is substantial: wisdom 25 gives -10 to mental saves, while wisdom 10 gives +20.
