'CABAL APPLICATION' Syntax: application to <cabal> Syntax: application subject <subject/title line> Syntax: application edit Syntax: application show Syntax: application send Syntax: applicant Syntax: applicant approve/disapprove/abstain <number> Syntax: applicant close <number> Cabal applications are sent when a character feels that his beliefs match up well with the beliefs of a cabal and he wishes to join. A player should roleplay well and already uphold the beliefs of a cabal to apply. Cabal applications are reviewed by all members of the cabal, including the cabal's guiding Immortal. Cabal members can approve or disapprove applications with the APPLICANT command. Before sending an application you must have completed the following: * Your character's physical appearance, defined by your DESCRIPTION * Your character's role, defined by your BACKGROUND * VERIFY your character to your forum account * Read the cabal's helpfile, e.g. HELP KNIGHT * Saved enough gold to pay the application fee of 20,000 coins After sending an application pay attention to the following: * Follow the applicant guidelines described in the cabal helpfile. * Uphold your cabal authentically, remember this is only the beginning. * If you have earned the Reputable honor, see HELP AUTOINDUCT To make it into a cabal, you must show your standards of roleplaying are exceptional. As a caballed player, you become an inspiration for others, encouraging them to try roleplaying better as well. Therefore, do not drop your roleplaying standards at any time. If any applicant is found to be communicating information about what character they play outside the game, that application will be denied. Please understand this and ask any questions to the Immortals BEFORE you apply if you feel there is any ambiguity over these requirements. Remember before you apply - even though you will receive protection and power for becoming a cabal member, there are responsibilities as well.
