EMOTE PMOTE Syntax: pmote <string> Syntax: emote <string> Emotes can be used to express actions (i.e. body language) that people can then respond to. They can also be used to provide description, which is useful for creating atmosphere. Don't do OOC, force other people's actions for them, or show thoughts. Examples emotes: (ACTION) Gweith scratches her forehead. (DESCRIPTION) Gweith brushes away the hair from her eyes. It gleams amber in the light. Pmote is identical to emote, but substitutes any occurance of a name with a "you" for that name's owner. Example pmotes: Groq writes: pmote knees Jaran in the cobblers. Jaran sees: Groq knees you in the cobblers. The room sees: Groq knees Jaran in the cobblers. The 'socials' command displays the list of built-in actions, e.g. hug, peer. The 'preview' command allows you to test out various socials without the risk of being seen by others.
