'DEDICATE' Upon reaching their second rank, scholars of the Consortium may dedicate themselves to the study of up to three pillars of knowledge (one major and two minors). The selection of these pillars serves to help guide the eventual Faction that the Consortium member joins, although they are afforded the autonomy to make the final decision themselves, choosing what they prefer after dedicating to the pillars that best represent them. Commands available to dedicate with follow: Syntax: dedicate -- view selections Syntax: dedicate <pillar> <major/minor> -- set pillars Syntax: dedicate <repick> -- start over with pillars Syntax: dedicate <mystic/herald/scholar> -- finalize * Choosing pillars that lie within the traditional domain of Heralds (encompassing History, Myth, Literature, Tragedy, and Warfare) will result in the member being ushered toward becoming a Herald. * Dedication to pillars of the original domain of Mystics (Arcane, Physical, Fundamental, and Religion) will lead to a recommendation of becoming a Mystic. * Those who choose mixed pillars, or in other words, mixed interests will be advised to continue their academic pursuits as Scholars.
