'HELP LEGION' The Legion of Darkness was first founded by immortal Rodyn during the period of peace that followed the Dragon Wars of the first age. Long obsessed with becoming the strongest fighter in history, Rodyn succumbed to the influence of his darker desires and was driven from the Knights by his brother, Sarich. To accomplish his goals and to seek vengeance against his former comrades, the first Forsaken assembled the Legion cabal. Over its long and winding history the cabal has been shaped and moulded by the unseen hand of its mysterious Dark Lord, a figure revered among its members more passionately even than the first Forsaken. Legionnaires are hand-selected from the fiercest of Serins with the strongest willpower and greatest ambition. Anyone with a strong enough desire to dominate, to rise above others, and to inspire fear is accepted into the Halls of Legion. Legion functions as a group of interdependent sects, each working together to satisfy the long-term goals of the Dark Lord: * destroyers - the hammer of Legion, focused on conquest and dominion * nightblades - intelligence-gathering spies and assassins * occultists - devout worshippers, receiving the voice of the dark lord Above-average combat ability is preferred, and knowledge of the layout of Serin is required. The pursuit of power in all forms is the primary motivator behind those in the Legion. Its power structure and ranking systems are inherited from the shattered Eternal Army, the organization from which many of the original Legionnaires came. The most power-hungry members will often resort to infighting and political maneuvering to sabotage their supposed allies, deciding with violence which among them has the necessary strength and genius to lead. * NOTE: The Legion cabal focuses on aspects of evil and negative emotions. As a member of Legion, you are expected to be able to keep your character's conflicts in-character at all times. Not all players are cut out to be members of this cabal. Applicants will refuse to pledge Oath to Valour as they are loyal to the idea of supremacy and dominance. Any applicant who pledges Oath will have their application revoked without question. The agenda of Legion is extremely secretive and held closely to the organization, thus all members are only allowed to have one caballed character at a time to prevent conflicts of interest. Failure to comply will result in immediate expulsion. See also: Vessel Legion has been reopened, every applicant must follow Dogran as their lord and deity.
