If you wish to be a part of helping new players learn their way around Serin, you can opt to be a NEWBIE MENTOR. Mentors have access to newbie chat, and will be able to see which players are <new> to the game. You can opt to be a newbie mentor at creation, or after creation by typing 'MENTOR'. If you abuse this ability, be prepared for severe consequences.
