'PARALLAX' Syntax: automatic It is said that some of the most powerful psionicists to have lived learned the ability to manipulate the universal constants of spacetime, distorting the effects of the fundamental forces, especially gravity. Several were noted for their ability known as parallax, an effect that would make the psionicist appear much closer than they actually are. The parallax ability affects those that are striking the psionicist without themselves being struck at. So for example, if a psionicist were engaged in combat with a warrior assisted by a berserker, it would be able to affect only the berserker.
