'SHRINES' Shrines are hallowed ground; places of worship that are sacred to the followers of a particular deity. In some cases, the shrine may be where the deity ascended to the heavens. In others, it may be a favored, secluded private spot. It is best not to trespass unwelcomed on a deity's shrine for too long, lest you incur the wrath of that deity. They may even set their followers upon you with murderous intent.
