'TATTOOS'
Syntax: tattoo self (at shrine)
Gods give out tattoos only to their devout followers, who exemplify the
creed and virtues they espouse and not based solely on alignment and ethos.
It is not mandatory to get a tattoo; rather, it is meant to help people
better define their characters and encourage roleplaying. If you hold a
different belief other than the ones that are being endorsed, you are more
than welcome to roleplay that; it just means that you will be doing it
without a tattoo. Just like joining a cabal, joining an organized religion
demands responsibilities and utmost devotion to your patron god, which
should not be taken lightly. Those who betray their god will suffer
accordingly.
To attain a tattoo, one should use the <tattoo self> syntax at their Deity's
shrine. Tattooing requires being pledged to the religion first, which in
turn requires a friendly reputation with the deity. Once the bearer reaches
an honored reputation with their deity, their tattoo will be empowered
with spell effects, taking on a more colourful appearance.
For information on the monk-only tattoos, which are not connected to the
religions in any way, please see

For non-religious tattoos, visit Vargan on the north road of Seringale.
