The Virtues of Knights <><><><>><><><><><><><> Honor: "I pledge my heart to Valour, to protect its honor." A Knight honors the behaviour standards set by Valour's society. He obeys other town's laws as his duty permits. He does not goad people or spew vulgarities. He should be known to others as a honorable man who keeps his word. He must be willing to face death before dishonor. Courage: "I pledge my arms to Valour, to continue its zeal." Knights become renown for their valiant deeds because they will portray courage in battle regardless of the numbers. Knights are expected to fight smart, but be willing to die if it means vanquishing their enemies. This is what allows a Knight to accomplish goals that self-preserving evils always run from. Respect: "I pledge my faith in Valour, to obey its every command." A Knight's very purpose requires them to live by the Virtues at all times, as well as to respect the wisdom of the senior-ranking members. Where an order set forth by a ranking member conflicts with the tenants of the Virtues, a Knight will always follow the Virtues first. Failure to respect Valour will result in demotion or uninduction. Following are the main duties of Knights, in order of priority. Your leaders may grant you other tasks. These guidelines are to be followed in lieu of other commands. 1) Reach your pinnacle 2) Retrieve the Hallowed Crown of Queen Victoria 3) Defend Castle Valour against all intruders 4) Defend captured cabal items in the altar 5) Assist other Knights to pinnacle 6) Kill any Anathema OR prepare for this 7) Mentor your squire 8) Respond (talk, notes) to any unsquired applicants 9) Cleanse any roll-sheet evils 10) Begin a CRUSADE against any unoathed evils Please do not rally the cabal to fight personal battles with people who are not in the scope of this list.
