'SHIRK'
Syntax: shirk <target> (lasts until toggled)
Dark-knights, far from the iron-willed paladins they are often compared
with, are famous for their will to shirk from responsibility. They may
choose a target to shirk the responsibilities onto. While in the front
lines of battle, the dark-knight will often let that target in harm's way so
that they themselves can avoid taking the shot. If the dark-knight manages
to successfully evade in this manner, then they will gain a minor amount of
willpower, helping to power their melee strikes. The person shirked onto
has a chance of dodging the attack. In later ranks, dark-knights learn to
exert enough willpower to compel monsters of the realm to do their bidding,
and having done so, may also shirk onto those monsters. For more
information about that, also see
COMPULSION.
Note: members of the mercenary guild may not be shirked upon.
