Gnome Monk

For those that thought iron body would make Gnomes badass, it no longer exists. Can we now get Gnome monks?

I guess we can rehash this. Here's a few reasons why we don't have gnome monks Rothak. you don't see gnome monks because :

(a) low priority,
(b) low appeal (see the players page, monk is towards the least popular classes. and we already have four gnome classes that are unplayed - all of them were BEGGED for and now they are abandoned, sadly even the gnome bard).
(c) you can play a pint-sized monk with high dex and actually have a good character by picking halfling, so gnome is likely to stay at zero just like it does on thief
(d) at risk of being viewed by the wider audience as "atrocious idiocy", meaning that would break the code of immersion, due to the ridiculousness, and annihilate some people's suspension of disbelief. The reason of course being that monks are pretty much based on shaolin (chinese) and gnomes is a european folklore thing that has nothing remotely to do with the monk, and not very well accomodated by the class - even if you put that background aside, its a bad fit for a melee with little escape skills or armor. Its VERY dissonant. I expect this joke would age like milk.
