I have heard of and been on the receiving end of a raking thief!?
Rake is a berserker skill. But a thief was using it, I got something like,
* rakes your weapon aside, over and over again, not letting me attack at all

What the heck is that about?

What does a water cube have to do with it? Water cubes dont have auto-rake or something like that, right?

Well I'm pretty sure that it is a special ability of those cubes, bu I'm not sure.

It's not a special attribute of water cubes.

There's a new skill that rogues get called "uncanny attack." While they're wielding an exotic weapon (which a water cube just happens to be) they can use the 'uncanny' attack which does a bit of damage, while also having the chance of raking your weapon.

It's actually a pretty schweet skill from what I've seen.

Ahhhh. That's what it is. I just thought so because everyone who uses a water cube does that. That is pretty cool.

Uncanny attack is an attack that you type out to use, and is impossible, or something like that, to block, it does not constantly rake your weapon aside

Uh, if your answer was the same as mine(your worded it so completely different I didnt realize it was the same answer) you answered the wrong question, uncanny attack works for one shot, I have had my weapon raked aside every single time I tried to hit them, just a normal round of fighting, no combat skills, and I could not hit them because my weapon was 'being raked aside'

Uncanny attack is a skill with a one round lag.

That means you can, theoretically, hit someone with it every single round.

That means that you can, theoretically, have your weapon raked aside for an entire duel if you stand there and keep letting your opponent hit uncanny attacks.

Unless I'm mistaken, you are only going to rake weapons aside if the opponent weapon type is blade. Against segments, you should just get some damage, and against shafts it probably backfires in some way (gives them a free attack on you, whatever). Generally speaking you probably want to go ahead and play the weapon switcharoo game with thieves if they are.

Uncanny attack.
