Because there seems to be a lot of instability with the mud lately, it would help if keys in your inventory would not disappear when the mud reboots. I hope I am not the only person who is constantly locked in a dungeon during a crash because of disappearing keys. Forces you to log out and actually be productive in real life... wait a min, maybe keys should keep disappearing. =) |

Well actually it didn't crash in the last 3 days, although you have a point about them anyway. Report the places you get stuck over reboots, so that we can make sure the keys are available on both sides of the door. That fixes the lame lock/summon stuff too, which is more important. |

Mahn-tor is also one of the commonly visited places with no keys inside. |

Mahn-Tor does indeed have keys on both sides of all 3 doors. |

Keep them coming, and remember its not just areas that need keys, but sometimes areas have internal parts that require a key too - those are the really bad ones. |

here's a list of key places off the top of my head, dunno if you've fixed these yet or if you want to:
d'al kadar
dankbark hole-in-the-ground
dwarven catacombs
escismir e'gal
exile
ford thickets
gnome village dungeon
octopusy thing in dragon sea
redhorne mountain
standing fortress
tainted valley
tyr unguld
winter...
though if you get stuck behind, for example, one of the dungeon cells in tyr unguld, it wouldn't make much sense to have a key in there to get you out considering the critters in there were locked in for a reason. |

But, most places, like with Brenwyvhar, have a room just off to flee, and you could conceal the actual exit from displaying, make it a hidden room and plop the key there, if you want to get realy bitchy. Or just do what I do in most cases, carry a recall and some misty potions. |

Screw that! Redhorne only gets a key on one side, because if you are inside, and you dont have a recall, you are a tard! If you are a warlord then 'HA!' ram it open |

Mahn-Tor and standing fortress look like the serious ones out of that list. The others look kinda troublesome. |
