|
|
Every cabal will find itself a bank to access at its personal
shopkeeper. Like any bank in Thera, the operations are BALANCE,
DEPOSIT and WITHDRAW. However, for cabals, there exists a few
special limitations.
1) Withdraw limits. Instead of taxing for withdraw, which would
make no sense for a cabal to do to itself, the cabals offer a
limit. Because this is a shared bank, the limit prevents one
person from removing everything. The limit itself reflects the
importance of the member to the cabal.
2) If a cabal item is captured, each of the victim's cabal members
bank will be gradually emptied into the cabal coffers. This means,
capture items to drain gold, retrieve items to avoid gold loss.

Neato!
If there aren't any cabal members around to retrieve the item, will it still drain the gold from the banks? |

It drains the "personal" banks of the victims so, no. If you want to protect your money you can put it in the cabal bank, where its open to the rest of the cabal. Subject to change. |

what if the person raiding isnt in a cabal... Just has a grudge against one of the other cabal members or something and raids and steals the item? Do they get the money? Or does it just disappear to nothing? |

"Captured" means you have to have a cabal guardian to give the captured item to. You have to have a cabal guardian, so non-caballed people will just be standing around with a big thumb up their butts.
You might say "well that's not very fair, non-caballed characters should have a shot at the gold too." Keep in mind, however, that when a caballed character CAPTURES an enemy cabal's item, they get marked with the flag of that cabal (i.e. capture Justice item -> you get wanted, capture Legion item -> you get contracted, etc.). So it's not exactly "free"... |

an idea for the Keeper cabal is to have higher investors (into the pot) to have a higher chance of promotion (so promos are in part (not in whole) based on a neutral/objective system of who financially has a greater stake in the cabal). |

I am sure we are going to take the next logical steps as we see them. I was thinking of applicant investment for helping earn their way in. |

By the way here is an update on this..
Legion is winning the money race easily with protection money contributions, and the second place is Knights, probably pouring in their savings there before Legion grabs the item.. I think they're going to take the lead for a bit when someone buys noble though. Justice is going slowly as is to be expected. |

I haven't played in... a long time. Justice really don't have a chance do they? No more 30k a day from fines and all. Last I saw they didn't have the big bankrolls of old. I remember dropping $4 mill at NS one day. Good times.
Is NS still there? |

Actually ... I think they'll get up there, because there's auto-fining for attacking lawfuls in Seringale now (in certain places), and then there's the extremely expensive paying off flags, etc. |
