Guide to random items

I dug this out of the forum and linked it in our help section. Also I updated the bit about not buying random items, since you can appraise them at Rimath now.

(If you're reading the guide and wondering what the hell a "suffix is", its the finishing part after the object name ..e.g. belt of invokation, gauntlets of ogre power...etc )

In the guide it talks about being 'lucky' in random item gambling... does this refer to player luck or character luck?

I should say a little of both if I had to guess. When Aldaein and I used to go up into winter to gamble I would win some of the best gambled items I've seen around. I would bolster my luck with prayer, etc.

I don't remember luck being involved in the item generation (its not a player action since its the mob that makes the item), but maybe its in the haggling and selling part.

- Pel the armorer in Seringale
- Aanam the armorer in Timaran
- Sepulvar the jeweler in Darkhaven

Aligns
- Elmend the armorer in Liberty
- Faerie Fransiz in Escismir E'gal
- the illithid armorer in Enthema
- Saluk the long-faced (wild items, so cheaper to gamble) in Darkhaven

Special
- the unlucky smuggler in Evermore

There are others out there.
