Auction Question

What does it mean when an item is sitting in the Auction with "collectable by all" in parenthese next to its price? Other then the obvious in quotations. Because I tried to collect, but was told I did not win the item or whatever.

Maybe I need to be a bit more clear so this gets answered. I tried to collect an item that said in parentheses "collectable by all". I assumed anyone could collect if they had the money, but Rimath would just tell me that he doesn't have the said item for me. Am I missing something?

That's an item that has been contracted. I'm not sure about much beyond that.

Well I didnt see anybody using the "contracting" thing in Darkhaven, so I moved it to Seringale. And from what testing I did it seemed to be working fine, and also have seen some people using it as intended. Although lately I have heard there's a few side-effects like not being able to contract at Vinnie the shopkeeper anymore. So, um. I'll get around to that I hope, just as soon as I find out everything that's gone wrong there.

By the way feel free to bump issues like this that get forgotten for a while. It helps us tie up loose ends which are unhealthy for the game's image.

So, how can I go about collecting the said item if I can?
