| So that it is prepared before fight and cannot be re-applied safely during one in progress ..rogues dont have too much prep to do, but this is one of those things that can be a fight swinger & thus we prefer they only get to use it one time (like backstab). |

| cool, but what does it actually do when you envenom your weapon? I've used it, but I've never seen any effects from it. |

| It has a chance to proc poison in battle. Quite nice. |
