Okay. So I originally put this in the bugs and typos section, but I decided to put it here so that there can be a back and forth rather than me posting a million times in bugs and forum. The issue stems from the fact that I think the phantom dragon effect of the Holy Symbol of Bahamut is not functioning correctly.

Also, I didn't include it in the first post, and I don't have a log of it, but it does show in my affects

My guess is this would be like taking a level 1 pet into a battle against a level 50 mob. The mob is going to parry every single attack attempt by the pet. You don't see this happening (You only see when a mob parries YOUR attacks) but it doesn't mean it isn't. |
So. In response to Olyn's last post: when I was playing the illusionists that I have played, I have never seen phantom creatures be parried/dodged/shield blocked etc. They have always hit. Once every other round for phantom griffon, twice every other round for illusionary spectre, and once every other round for phantom dragon. When the phantom creature disappeared, there was always a message alerting me that my phantom dragon was going away.
Here, I provided enough to show that the phantom dragon is not coming into existence at all. I did not receive any message telling me that my phantom dragon disappeared. So even if the mob were parrying/doding all the phantom attacks, I would have at least been notified when the symbol stopped trying to phantom dragon the target. |

| um, if your affects still show the phantom dragon, it means it hasn't disappeared. |

| I know. I've played illus before so I know a little bit about the phantom illusions. It says there's a phantom dragon in my aff, yet there's no phantom dragon. It says there is one, but there isn't. It's a phantom phantom dragon. It's supposed appear the round after you cast it, and it just doesn't appear, ever. |
