Paladin Questions

Now that I've recently condied a 50 paladin for my first time, I have some questions about them.


Question #1: What is the point of the Stake skill? When would you use it except against someone playing the vampire class? E.g. would you ever need to use it against a mob?


Question #2: What is Cleanse Room for?


Question #3: For half-elf paladins, is Greginsham Plate in fact tied to the cure light spell? I didn't practice cure light and then never saw this racial legacy kick in.

stake is for coffined vampires. does huge chunks of damage. does not work vs mobs if i recall correctly.

cleanse room used to be for removing blanket of darkness'd rooms (shaman spell).

gengrishem plate legacy is tight to cure light. if you are a half-elf tanking mobs that are higher than you, you can pretty much stay at around 40% health, throwing in a cure serious as needed. ettins/defilers/etc are awesome for this.

Cleanse room can be used like down in shaldun where the warders are in the cursed rooms. You use it and if it works and doesn't fail it cleanses the room so you can word out of there instead of being stuck down there to die if things go horrible. On my paladin I only put one practice into it but it came in handy a few times.
