Uh no..... there's no need to release its source code. Its working in a logical, reasonable way. We don't need to splay its guts everywhere and ruin its mystique. Basically like Burzuk originally said, if you want to train faster you can level up to get a boost; there's one granted at 36 and another at 50. It is going to be slower to train without those, but don't think of that is a penalty, rather levelling up gets you a bonus. I have since removed/undid anything that looked like a "penalty" to training rates. Low int? Well int is still a bonus, simply a bigger one if you have elf 25 int. Level advantage over mobs does not really matter anymore. There may still be something in for stacking 30 mobs and rape training defences in 30 minutes, but if so its probably like, your chance to learn is affected by the amount of mobs youre fighting, not a level difference thing. When Burzuk said training there was for schmucks he was trying to encourage you to head for 50 which is better for the playerbase overall, but you can still train up things at level 10-12 on the swirling mists if you set your mind to it. Skills raise. Personally I thnk surge bonus obliterates anything else that might have otherwise hampered training. |
