Ok so I verified that you cannot, in fact, quaff a potion while you're raged whether you're in combat or not. My mistake there. However, rage only lasts 2 ticks. So by the time you've run off and used the consumables, which takes two ticks, the zerker would have relaxed and be able to requaff.
Fact of the matter is invokers are zerker meat. |

guess Noliperus is still close to condeath. i'd argue it's a fairly even fight. dispel + consumables vs 0 regen 0 quaffing. |

It's a shitty trick, but one of the funnest memories I have with invokers against zerkers is finding them unsanced, and either a) icicle (if fire giant) or b) hellstreaming them into insta-rage. If you can manage that and your spells are up, it should be a fairly decent attempt at evening the odds. The problem is that the odds of getting that situation (unsuspecting or ill-prepared zerker with full health, no adrenaline, etc.) are pretty slim. I've done it a few times, and if I could find the logs again I'd laugh my ass off again.
Other than that, yeah, a prepared zerker provides a great training seminar for flee tactics for most invokers. |

Zend, had you said you couldn't find your character in the graveyard? I thought you had said that (if not don't mind me). Anyway I saw it in there. |

I feel that the 'enchant armor' spell should help you defensively and not offensively. How about it gives you resistance against certain damage types? However, you recover some materials to give your armor a certain boost in damage resistance. |

How do you figure 0 regen? Raged zerkers get super regen since their regeneration skill gets a bonus while raged.
Try rolling up an invoker and fighting a zerker if you think it's fairly even. |

Ya I searched for Zanderic, and could not find the graveyard. I think the reaper thing was after his inactivity. |

btw is there a way to know what the damage ranges on like injure, hit, ect? Like how much better is a obliterate then a mutilate? This information might help me understand exactly how much damage im doing. |

That sort of info you can find with google, as those damage messages are DIKU stock, very very easy peasy to find |

I agree it should be defensive. Maybe just bump the amount of ac you can get from the spell to make it worth it. I don't even train the spell anymore. |

yes, I know the order. I am just wondering if the differences are incrimental or not. Example could be 1-3 4-9 10-17 18-27 I have not been able to find it on google yet. I do not know what DIKU stock means. |

The following are the damage messages, and the max amount of hp damage
for each message:
0 miss 4 scratch
8 graze 12 hit
16 injure 20 wound
24 maul 28 decimate
32 devastate 36 maim
40 MUTILATE 44 DISEMBOWEL
48 DISMEMBER 52 MASSACRE
56 MANGLE 60 DEMOLISH
75 DEVASTATE 100 OBLITERATE
125 ANNIHILATE 150 ERADICATE
greater than 150 = UNSPEAKABLE
|
By Diku stock he just means that AR, although heavily modified, is still just a DikuMUD. |

That helps actually. Now I have the idea. Unless I go with damage gear, there is no way I can keep up with most geared people. I will have to try going with damage gear and see how that works, im not too hopeful though. |
