I read the help file on this skill, I'm assuming it was removed from the game? seemed pretty sweet. Was it too over powered?

I think it didn't fit into the new scheme of rangers, and was just put back into inventory. Although, now that you've brought it up, it would be a cool racial legacy for werebeast rangers Smile

Werebeast rangers don't need a racial legacy. I think the skill was removed along with control weather and call lightning to focus the class as a fighter and not a fighter splashed with magic.

hmm just giving rangers this ability to track on some level seemed to fit well with its character. I imagine rangers could track well and be "one" with the beasts of the wild. And yes, I'm being selfish

In a sense ranger is a "good tracker" in its natural habitant - the wilderness. Because he gets a movement bonus in woods he can keep up and find his prey with less effort?
