I have had this idea for quite some time now, in general it would totally revamp the way the game is played and have people concentrate on skill rather than decked out eq. It would also make enchanting mucho the worth while.
First enchant armor should add more than just AC, we should be able to add saves to armor pieces and stats/hit/dam to jewelry pieces. This would give players more of a versatility and IMO prevent a lot of random no RP gank/full lots.
Enchant weapon should be able to concentrate on just dam or just hit, also we should be able to enchant held items and shields with stats.
This is just a rough draft of my idea and I am willing to contribute in anyway possible. |

Please do not, ever, derail an ideas thread. The stupidest of ideas may lead to sparks of creativity that causes something wonderful to emerge. This process is absolutely essential to embrace for continuous improvement. NEVER slam the brakes on it!
Beia, we have been working on something for crafting, which I can't say too much about because we haven't gotten very far. However, I will say the idea you have about enchanting saves onto gear is intriguing and something I hadn't really thought of. I will keep that part in mind. |
