|

We have added a new cabal leader-only command, called 'appoint'. Those
of you who have played nobles will already be familiar with what this does.
It includes a player in your cabal's channel with listening and speaking
priviliges. However, since only a cabal's leader can use it, that makes it
much more exclusive.
Appoint is reserved for Heralds and Mystics.
Heralds: A herald that has been appointed to a cabal may be thought of
as an observer, an embedded journalist of sorts that isn't required
to participate in any fighting. They may help to lighten the mood of
the cabal or sing its praises when it is doing well.
Mystics: A mystic is appointed as a political advisor, to ensure that
the cabal is following its goals and advise them what they should be
doing, looking for non-violent solutions to conflicts where possible.
A Mystic would be trusted to review applications to see that they have
the right goals and background.
It is the sole discretion of the mortal leader with regards to who they
appoint, or do not appoint. There is no limit to how many Heralds and
Mystics may be appointed. There is a limit of 1 Herald per
cabal only because the Heralds have decided to observe that.
Note that on this change note, nobles may be considered finished,
as their function is essentially annexed into Heralds and Mystics.
All nobles may choose now to join one or the other, buying nobility
though will be disabled.

Due to demand, nobility has been restored. You may purchase nobility at
Aldacer or earn it through proof of worth to the Executor of Valour.
Please see Help NOBLE or the Immortals if you have any questions.
