|
|
I have some new code prepared which will enable double killing. Currently, this will only apply to inputted skills.
What that means is this. If two low hp guys hellstream each other at the same time, they'll both get hellstreamed by each other and then both die. Moreover, if that is a duel to the stun, then the duel will end in a tie and both people will be stunned. However, if it is just regular rounds of combat, then everything will behave as it usually does. Changing that is possible but I figured we could start with skills/spells, as the rounds themselves are a little more fair.
This requires some deep (but not terribly complicated) low level changes so we'll need to all be on the lookout for serious bugs. We've had a few Imms already test. In order to test this out more widely, some Imms have expressed a desire for a few hours of brawling. I don't feel personally that it is necessary, but let me know if there's any interest. Tentatively that will be on saturday. |

What is the fact that determines whose attacks go first in a round? I think at one point it was whoever logged on first. That makes it a pretty significant advantage with no real reason, so I'd love to see the double kill mechanic extended to normal round attacks |

At one point it was the person whose name was first alphabetically, but chances are that's long gone. |

I would like a braw day also, been wanting to test somethings myself.
I also really do not know how deep these changes are and how they are going to affect me. It only really matters in a close fight right? |

you can look at a double ko between rythan and that legion necromancer I can't remember the name on invokation. That is before this was implemented of course. |

No, its not going to apply to autoattacks. That definitely feels dumb. I've tried it out and noticed that. It will just apply to inputted damage.
So, a few hours this saturday? Not the whole day. |

We may only need so much testing and lots of players think brawl day is boring. We'll run it for as long as we need to in order to do proper testing. It might be a long time, it might not be so long |

Who thinks Brawl Days is boring?! I have done it once or twice and it is exhilarating and exhausting. Please do it Sunday. My brother is getting married Saturday. |

Would the 12 AM - 12 PM conflict with the surge that takes place of Friday? Cause that one is like from 10PM-12AM my time and well, I know its not the time frame the server is on. -6:00 GMT |

I know it isn't two words, but is it "You have a job?" Or.. "Stop having a life?"
Lol. My day off is Sunday, I might jump in Saturday evening if I have time. |
