Illusionist vs. Vampire

Vampires are immune to dreamstruck, don't take damn near any damage from damaging spells like hob spark and color spray. Tips?

would be interesting to see an ill with dups of the tired old innkeeper with hasted divine power damage, a nice dispel sanctuary should work pretty well.

Vamps have a weakness to color spray... Maybe you need a break?

Can't dupe tired old innkeeper, or Valen, or the rotting illusionist, I think. Any tips on dupes that do magic damage would be greatly appreciated...not just fighting vamps, but barrier using invokers as well.

First of all, experiment with your own dupes. I'm all about talking overall class strategy but asking about what specific dupes or zombies you should use comes across as lazy. Especially as an illu who can gate to all these things.

Second of all, dispel magic.

well this is what I have noticed, while your trying to dispel the invoker. they do the same thing. now that the changes have been made to dupes, there is no magic using dupe that an illusionist can get, unless of course they are among the light which there is one. but the evils have none as far as I have seen.

Yeah after extensive research it looks as if all the magic dealing illusions that were worth anything are no longer in the mix. Meaning you have to just use physical damaging dupes in order to beat down the barrier or attempt to dispel them..
