Code:
weapon procs now occur on-hit instead of after hits

Saw this in the MOTD but no idea what it means. I bet some players are wondering too?

probably wasn't as descriptive as it couldve been, oh well. "proc" is shorthand for procedure. Without wanting to break away immersion by giving away too much, I will add it includes the spells that are cast by equipment while fighting. For example, the poison that gets cast by envenom is one such spell.

Recently, somebody reported a bug that envenom didnt work with a weapon in the off-hand, which of course makes no sense. When I checked, I found that everything like that (the ice staff chill affect, etc) happens after the round i.e. per round, instead of per hit. I changed it to per hit, which fixes the offhand bug. It also means that they now have to get through defenses to work too, though. That latter thing being exactly what I wanted for envenom because it means it requires a better hitroll to get the most out of. Imagine assassinating somebody with a pair of highly precise daggers - the emphasis is on hitting them to get them poisoned, not making a giant head-severing slice attack. Seeing damroll making backstabs bigger and wild attacks wilder, we have still some way to go in that regard, but I figured it'd be a step in the correct direction.
