|
|
Wonder if it is possible to allow the dummy to dual wield?
Or perhaps a switch to trigger the dummy to switch between the three combat styles?
I know I am being a little selfish here but... offhand disarm needs some love... that's the only one thing I find extremely hard to master. |

Let's just get rid of the dummy entirely. |

No, Ergorian, just no. It's a great help and you certainly don't have to use it if you don't want to, but don't ruin it for others just because you and one, maybe two other people don't care for it. |

the dummy is a spot fix, without it the game would suffer a great deal. One of our imps in the past went on a nerf spree against everything that could possibly be used to train more effectively than looping nymphs or something. That's why there are no toy swords, demon-faced talisman was replaced with a rare, pink and green stone was gimped, etc.
I'm not a big fan of the dummy but we don't have development hours to spend unfucking all that shit |

I just think there should be a mob somewhere, anywhere that could dual wield.
I wish I had kept my warrior's practice list. 100% in everything, literally every fucking skill, even the hard to train ones. Berserk, warcry, volley, overpower, every fucking skill was 100%. Except dual disarm. That was at 75%.
There isn't a single mob anywhere in the game that dual wields except for ONE good-aligned level 50 rare holder in Liberty. That's it. |

guys, use green potions and fight those ettins, you'll make part of the money back just by killing them. Not like anyone in this game is wanting for gold. |

If you're poor as fuck just stop training at the training dummy. Find some mobs 5-10 levels lower than you in some out of the way area and loop them. Or, if you're a high enough level, train skills on mine golems and make $$BANK CASH DOLLAH$$ all while collecting ore. You can do this even at level 25 if you use critter potions/resistance potions and still make huge profit.
With the exception of a few skills like disarm or barrage there's just no reason to use the training dummy. There are better, more profitable, safer alternatives. |
