|

So after watching Junney die on stream as he was quaffing gyvel potions reminded me that there aren't enough gyvel plants to go around. Maybe we should make them cure blindness 100% of the time? |

A lot of the people failing them, aren't spending the gold to get the higher level cure. |

Didn't we let players grow their own herbs for this? |

There are too many to carry. I think we we go the herb route we should at least make them level 50, shorten the duration for them to grow and raise the max you can grow at a time. |

We put a flask in last update Mikoos. You can buy it at the witch.
As for the herbs, we have literally already gone the herb route. Let me know if I'm missing anything else here. We can make something to brew herbs into potions too if youre stuck with a ton of herbs. I really dont mind and it will go straight into druid skills too. I mean it really is trivially added. I get the sense this is bad helpfiles or aruncus shoulkd emote wild growth to make the gyvel potion or something |

We originally wanted this in Timaran so players would have more reason to visit |

I say leave it in Timaran. Seringale has a potion shop. Echiur might not like the competition budding up like that. |

Basically I wanted to make it easier for newbs to handle blindness. After thinking about it, I guess things are okay where they are. It's just not too obvious on how to be prepared for it. I (or someone else who is better at pking than myself) could write a guide on how to prepare for pking. That explains how much to carry of certain items and gaining them etc.....Would that be too much of a cheat sheet? |

We don't have to move the herbs from Timaran. But if we're gonna have a problem carrying around six kinds of herbs with potions then we might as well have a way to just transmute it to the potion to flask it. We could have echuir process the herbs for gold and have druids be able to just brew it themselves for free, like what aruncus is doing.
I wanted to have a special rare flask that steadily generates potion on its own too. Of course you choose what you want to put in |

all thieves should get a 10 item bonus to the number of items they can carry
and nobody else should get anything. If you want to have all the same kind of purple potions then you can make an herb garden. You have the tools, use them or be lazy and suffer the consequences imho
maybe we should make player housing where you can buy a flower box from the furniture vendor and put it in your house to grow 3 herbs, if a thief doesn't break into your house and loot your plants |

do you get a seed from your plant?
you should have a chance to get seeds when you harvest the herb |

Herb growing is going to be made easier and more reliable with the introduction of Lairs, and more advanced and/or specialized recipes for curatives may be created using lair crafting.
The "6 kinds of herbs" problem will be solved by grinding down items that provide cure blind into dust, and mixing new potions from it. This can allow, for example, processing a gyvel dusk and a black herb in the same manner to create the same type of output item, so they will stack and be easily-aliased. |
