would you guys prefer bash always working, but being halved duration if used again within 5 rounds... times however many times that happened, instead of having it potentially miss 5 times / hit 5 times depending on rng
this diminishing returns would be shared over all lag skills
thinking it would be more difficult to spam to gank with it this way, but the overall effect (i.e. over the longer fights) seems the same, and it would be more dependable for those times when you really need it

I honestly think it would give the smaller races a better chance if they don't have protective shield easier. |

I really love this idea dav, I really hated those times, where all you needed was one more round, and you try to bash with a giant, and oh, miss, oh miss. miss, it really got old. I can think of at least 4 times, just off the top of my head, just on my last fire giant, of times where I most likely would have one, if a bash had landed. |

This would change the entire dynamic of the way some classes fight.
Also - would this apply to the sidestep/trip?
If so, that would be a bit odd, only because it isn't like they are doing it intentionally (i.e. more about the sidestep) and they may want to save that trip for later. |

You can't trip someone who's already down. |

Ergorion are you saying the only way to kill "pip" is to get really lucky - bash him 100%-0% with zero chance to respond? Or were you referring to a giant gangbang? Coz a HGOD can already get that done with hobble, and its way more easy and reliable than 4 random loafs with 1 spamming bash. Whereas 100-0 has been impossible since August last year.
I think it would apply to all lag skills, per attacker though not per victim, so a gangbanging team could stagger their lag skills.
It seems like an easy change to make, and the end result is there's some actual skill and thought involved here, but I would rather see how you guys feel about it. |

Regarding the pip play style, I do think you need to be able to chain lag in order to beat it. Because pip will never put himself in a position where he is still fighting one round from death.
It's definitely not a 100%-0%. But certainly c. 40%-0% range. |
