Is there a purpose for a monk's dragon breath? It completely drains yang chii for not much damage given the chii exhaustion. |

I've never used it, so I'd need to take a look. If it's just a little extra bonus to dragon it's probably fine. If dragon sucks and this isn't beneficial, we'll need to consider tweaking it. |

It is an extra skill like exploding palm, wing buffet, etc. I'm just saying it eats up all of yang chii, so there's zero use for it. |

From what I remember of it, the benefits definitely don't outweigh the costs. It drains too much chii to be useful. The damage is not spectacular enough nor the side effects consistent enough to merit use. I'm pretty sure there's a chance to do a flamestrike like blind but it's rare.
Overall, I would say either (a) decrease the chii cost (b) increase the damage it does (c) add more secondary effects and make them more frequent.
I'm thinking along the lines of a breath that does a slight weaken. A breath that has a chance to disarm. Etc. |
