Why do thieves have bows and not ninjas? Come on ninjas assassinate and they can not use bows. Thats like being a cowboy and have never shot a gun. So why do ninjas not have bows? |

Just the fact that a class deserves something in an RP sense will not overrule the gameplay issues at stake. |

So, ah, why don't ninjas get bows?

Because we're working on new object throws and martial arts skills for them instead (to better distinguish them from thieves). Unlike almost all the other classes, they've also retained their offhand enhanced bonus, with the goal being to eventually establishing them as being the indisputably strongest rogue class in open combat, especially when it comes to dual wield. In other words, thieves will need bows to counter ninjas, but not vice versa.
Also, anyone who has played the Thief series of games, especially the original ones from Looking Glass Studios (RIP), knows that thieves are way better suited than ninjas when it comes to bows and arrows. Obviously."

I don't recall ever announcing anything ninja-specific for any of the combat modules. Now if you had said something like revamped double grip, then you'd have my confirmation. |

Sorry burzuk i made the assumption that when you said ninja's would get skills to better define them from thieves i thought they were to come out in combat module B.You have my apologies. |

Short and simple, why do arrows hit when you are blinded and I dont mean by dirt. |

Maybe because if someone's close enough to be hitting you with a melee weapon, there's a small chance that you could aim directly in front of yourself and get lucky....? |

Why does any weapon hit when you're blinded with the rate it does? Because if it didn't, that would equate blinding with utter incapacitation, which is, I grant you, closer to what it truly is in realistic combat. That said, given the abilities used by PCs, we're pretty much kickass people with super-powers. This world wouldn't be half as useful for escapism if we weren't. Also note that rangers and warriors get blind fighting which might be adding to the effect you've observed. |

Keep in mind, that in the real world, if you get dirt kicked in your eyes, you are 100% blind and it takes an hour to regain your vision.
Riiiiiiiight. |

Well, if you wanna get "technical" it takes people in AR an "hour" to get their sight back to...Kinda. |

Uh, Baer... that's his point.
In the real world if you get dirt kicked into your eyes, you'd still have a chance of seeing something (dirt in the eye doesn't make you instantly 100% blind), and it doesn't take you an hour to get the dirt out.
But you can't base anything in AR on reality. I mean honestly, how many times can one person be DISEMBOWELED? I thought only once, but go figure. |

Perhaps if you had like..........fifty sets of bowls...........not likely.....................from now on all people of any rank can only do up to injures, wounds, and hits!!! Except for with skills like backstab and assassinate, which can do mauls |
