I've been thinking mithril being light would be a nice option for elf pallys. |

I'm pretty sure I posted this on the logboard too but you cant expect to have your cake and eat it, you know. Whether you've rolled an eradication-specced paladin, a monk, or even a druid, you've received some buff skills and gave up some gear options for them. So when you're talking about flipping these items around so that these characters can use them, it seems you're literally only thinking about your own personal agenda when you do that. Because what difference does that make to you, right? If you look outside your own experience, though, there are some serious problems. There is nothing light about dwarven plates. They are a high strength race. Druids can't wear that stuff at all, either. Don't take this too personally, but eventually you will be making a fire giant warrior complaining the forged gear has no AC on it because its all light armor. You know, a while ago I noticed someone was trying to convince Olyn to make strongmans armlets into a light-armor. How are you supposed to do that? Call them skinnydude armlets? Or how about ok, nevermind, since we've had more common sense than to do THAT, lets instead add identical stat items to the game but make it light armor so its just perfect for eradication paladins. To what end though. Because the end result is eradication paladins will just get their skills nerfed and end up dependent on the gear they wanted. What about low level warriors, shouldnt they be able to make plate with 13 ore? Is taking that away what you really want ? Just think it over. |

Forged mithril armor should be light armor. If it's not, please report an in-game bug. |
