Guild tasks

When I do these tasks, the person tells me so vaguely who I am supposed to give it to it is hard to find the right one, a couple of times I have given away the package and the person has asked what to do with it, what does that mean?
I think either the person you are supposed to give it to should say something different when you greet them, or the description of who you should give it to should be better

Either:

A) Return the package to the SAME guy who sent you to kill to get it.

Or:

B) Return with the package to the SAME guy who sent you for it, and then GREET him, to get a new location for the package.

I am not sure how much clearer we can be on locations, it gives you the area name doesnt it? Try exploring a bit more.

I wasn't given an area name when I was given a second location from the initial mob I greeted.
Thus, mob was
Greet mob
Get package from guy in illusionary isles.
Greet mob
Bring package to guy(no area name given)

Not sure if its like that still.

omfg, I think my task expired, going to see my old friend Carinnyn, about the same time i ran out of moving looking for the bloody path that changed, it said my task has expired, only with gate would i have made it to him in time. That sucked, but let me see what he says.

I greeted him warmly and he just said same to you. well i knew exactly where he was imagine somone who dose not now the lands, i dont think two minutes or whatever the time limit is enough.

and you removed the other purple potion close to him... not a great day for the this old wanderer.

Yeah I removed that purple.

There are two purples in Moria.
There are two purples in the Murmuring Mists north of Valour.
There are two purples (well, flask of blood) in the Keep of D'al Kaddar.

We have enough purples.

Lemme know how you get on with these tasks.. but please edit your post instead of posting 3 times.

Ah, yes, this was a much better run. Walking is for the weak and too slow for these tasks. I used an illusionist who needs much attention, most of my items vanished from being removed, and i was wearing a brass dragons talon for a belt, funny i removed it, identified it and it was anti evil on a drow unfortunatly i could not put it back on my waist it was kinda funny. Ok I got off subject but when you gate around you know I was a sucess, told to go to earth ruler, gated to dust, he said kill vendor... I actually walked to him(crazy) greeted ruler with package said take it to dark-knight merc, greeted him.. nothing, gave him package he opened it and droped a emerald green band. (Lets just say this band has wonderous godlike powers, so you better do some tasks) Ok this one was better but i will try again with somone who needs to walk and run my heart out.

For those of you having problems, here's how the process for guildmaster tasks should go:

1. 'Task' at guildmaster.
2. 'Greet' assigned mob.
3. Kill second assigned mob for package.
4. Return to first assigned mob with package.

-- Here you have to make a decision: gold or fabulous prizes. --

If you choose gold:

- Give package to first assigned mob.

If you choose 'fabulous prizes':

- 'Greet' first assigned mob.
- Give package to the newly assigned mob.

You said you had an option to give it back to the person who sent you to kill the mob for gold right? Well, I gave it to him and he asked me what he was supposed to do with it

Today I did a task it it told me to give the package to "a cook"! What cook! Theres alot of dang cooks, so, naturally, I gave it to the wrong one
big load of crap!

Ok here is the score, went for a third task, with a diff person. Warrior was a bust, too slow. Ilusionist was a breeze. and lastly a dk, this last one i went to grimlin queen, not easy the door that was never locked was locked and i was like damn i am going to run out of time, so i summoned old henry to thrash. He opened the door for me with a little persausion. Next was to kill the butcher in grand thalos. A nice run, but no time at all i was back at the queen when i was finally stumped the first time in this tasking thing. young beautiful handmaiden, I think she might have been in the town north of seringdale, but thank the dark gods I summoned her and now i am at 3 tasks, 1 fail warrior, 2 success with evil. Final note, knowing all the people in the world is no good when all the paths have changed and your time is limited. Oh not telling what the second item was, but rest assured it was another wonderful item with god like powers that makes me spit fire and planeshift. (oh yea)

Maybe you can have the Area name added to the affect, when you do one of these tasks? I got one, and I'm a little under the weather today, and by the time I got near where I needed to be, I forgot the area. Not saying this is common, but it might help any who forget.

I forgot to mention that I was always told the first two npc's area, but the last npc you are only given the name, so that is why i was not sure where the beautifuly handmaiden even was.(and a poor memory)

I'm sorry, but can you explain how you get the fabulous prize? You kill the one with the package, and then what?

Go back to the guy who sent you and give him another greeting (instead of the package)

Tat doesn't really make sense, though, does it? Instead of giving the guy the package that he wnated, you just go up to him and say hi, and he gives you stuff?
