*sigh* There are several types of romance. First, we have the cheesy, fake, crap that boys think is clever and charming when really it just makes them look dumb. That ranges from really really bad pickup lines to even semi-decent manuevers to pick up chicks with extravagent romance.
The we have soap-opera class romance.
Here is where we touch into tragic happenings, obscure heroism, sacrifices, possibly near fatal or fatal actions. This is the good stuff that we like. We want to be shoved into a very very cheesy SOAP OPERA type relationship where other girls may be trying to get into your guys pants but he won't stray from you, and yadda yadda. This description could go on for awhile.
Just know that there is a difference. For guys I'm pretty sure its safer for romance option number one, but soap-opera is what we're looking for. |
