| Seriously, people, I'm getting fucking annoyed at the number of post whores w/ gigantic fucking avatars that are popping up. IMO (good old alma matar, right mullet?), I think that people should post something relevant to the subject before going off on a tangent. and yeah, I know you all are gonna do this just to piss me off. Meh. |

I agree with you, Clif... without naming names we can all probably visualize the oversized avatars and the names associated with them. But getting people to post relevant things in an open public forum isn't going to be a foolproof operation. Everybody always wants to get their two cents in, or to 'boost their post count' or whatever.
Personally, I know I have quite a few posts under my belt. In fact, I think I looked the other day and I was like 3rd or 4th as far as who has the most... only mullet and Davairus were ahead of me if I recall. However, I also think that (with a few exceptions) most of my posts are either offering an opinion or different viewpoint, or explaining something, or something else constructive.
I really don't appreciate or understand the "yeah, me too" mentality that a lot of posts seem to have. If someone else has already said something that you agree with, let it go. There's no special prize for saying that you think the same way as someone else. Granted, if you have something to ADD, by all means feel free... I'm just tired of seeing something like this:

What's the damn point? You're not impressing anybody, and quite honestly I'd think that if you were doing that to Davairus, Burzuk, Eldorian, Lydana, etc., they'd think you were trying to be a kiss-ass and would probably respect you less for it.
Point: don't post useless trash just to see your name (or pseudonym) up on a website. It's 2004, that's not a big deal anymore.
